WHO WE ARE
GFI is a nonprofit organization that wants to help North Koreans overcome the struggles of poverty, natural disasters, and famine. We believe in giving resources and helping North Koreans strive for bigger and greater dreams.
OUR MISSION
Good Friends International's mission is to serve people suffering from poverty, famine, and natural disasters in North Korea, South Korea, and all over the world.
By fighting poverty, providing pivotal opportunities and raising a generation of leaders, GFI paves the way for a gospel-driven, peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
WHAT DOES GFI DO?
Humanitarian Aid
for North Korea
GFI strives to improve the quality of life of suffering North Koreans by focusing on the following five areas: Food and Nutrition Security, Agricultural Productivity, Health and Medicine, Economic Development and Education, and Disaster Relief.
Culture & Reunification
GFI conducts reunification education programs and events to encourage the generations who remember the tragic aftermath of the Korean War to dream for the gospel-driven, peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
Community Projects
GFI works to provide assistance for the adults and children in underprivileged and marginalized communities in South Korea to prepare for the era of reunification.
